Social Responsibility

Ecole Idiomas and Ecole Travel take the social responsibility of the company very seriously.

In 2011 we have done, among other things, the following activities:

• We have paid two full-time monthly salaries all year for a coordinator and a psychologist for the street children outreach project in Quito
• Together with the travel agent Bunnik (Australia) we have donated the money for the uniforms and school utility lists of 50 street children, to enable them to attend school
• We have donated year-round medicines and utensils needed by patients at Baca Ortiz Children´s Hospital, which were not available at the hospital
• We made a mother´s day gift to mothers at the Children´s hospital Baca Ortiz: a portrait of them with their children!
  

  

• We sponsored a day-out of Camino Especial to Jamanco
  

  

• At the day of the child, a clown went to different children projects around Quito
  

  

• We are buying organic coffee for office-use from our project Coffee works in Loja
• We have paid the flight of bird "Gringa" from Holland, for her to have a safe place in the Condorpark near Otavalo
• Tourists, students and volunteers have donated clothing and shoes all year-round, which has been given to different projects around Ecuador
  

  

• Elaboration of "pepernoten" in Sinsoluka, for the december donation
  

  

• 1000 donations to children at all projects of a package of "pepernoten" (dutch typical december cookies) and a book with the story of "Sinterklaas" in colaboration with many of our clients
