daycare centers

This project is an initiative from the municipality of Santa Cruz. The project was started to project the children, to take care of them and to feed them. The daycare centre is for children from 6 months to 4 years. The project is available from March to January. You work in this project from 08.00-16.00. Most important in this project is giving attention to all the different children. Don’t expect here that you will work very hard all day or that you can teach English. The children are to young for this. You can find this project on the island of Santa Cruz.

This works like a part of the schools in both islands Santa Cruz and San Cristóbal for the government. They work with children from 4 and 5 years old. Per each classroom they have one teacher, responsible with a group of 20 or 28 children. They train their locomotion, learn how to draw and work with the hands, to identify colors, numbers, vowels, parts of human body, to know about transport and many more things.

This project is located on the island of San Cristóbal and is also a government institute, part of the ministry of health. This day care center is meant for children between 8 months and 4 years. The day care center wants to protect, take care of and feed the children. The timetable is from 08.00-16.30 in the months April-January. Don’t expect in this project that you will be working all day or give English classes. The children are to young for this.
