At Ecole Idiomas we offer many different projects in various areas and also in different regions of the country. To generalize the projects in this price lists we use the following descriptions, but please look at our project description list for all projects:
Volunteer
SOCIAL PROJECTS
These projects are based in Quito and normally have a social background. Projects we offer include the following: orphanage, day-care center, street outreach center, children hospital, etc.
The accommodation for volunteers at social projects is our own Student house. Here volunteers share a room with someone of the same sex, and they can make use of the kitchen, the common room and the garden (with BBQ). Meals are not included.
Volunteers travel with public transport to their projects. On their first day, they will be accompanied by Henry from our office so that they know their way.

NATURE PROJECTS
Hereby we refer to all projects outside of Quito, except the Galapagos Islands. We have projects in the Highlands, the coast and the jungle and also with different purposes. Please look at our project list for specifics about each project. The accommodation for volunteers at nature projects varies per project, but is either at a host family or at a general volunteer accommodation (or a hostal). All meals are included with these projects.
GALAPAGOS
Our Galapagos projects are a great way to get to know the famous islands and help! We have projects both in nature and at public schools. The price for the Galapagos projects include the flight (Quito – Galapagos – Quito) and the accommodation. Meals are not included, nor are the fees that will have to be cancelled for the National Parque ($100.00) and the Ingala card ($10.00).
Our Galapagos projects last 3 weeks. The 4th week can be used for travelling. We would need to know beforehand if the volunteer would like to use its 4th week for travelling to buy the ticket accordingly.

Accomodation
When you are studying Spanish in Quito, you can choose from different forms of Accommodation. Stay in our lively Studenthouse, experience the daily life with an Ecuadorian Hostfamily or stay at a hostal in the Mariscal Neighbourhood.
